The terrace has a good sized dining table with great views over the water. Marko and Zivka (the owners) live above and were very friendly and helpful throughout (we even benefitted from a very generous amount of home grown cherries over the two weeks!). Great accommodation, lovely place
We had a fantastic holiday in Nin The accommodation was excellent. The apartment is spacious and fitted out to a very high standard. The terrace has a good sized dining table with great views over the water. Marko and Zivka (the owners) live above and were very friendly and helpful throughout (we even benefitted from a very generous amount of home grown cherries over the two weeks!). The apartment doesn’t have a pool but that suited us - we prefer the beach and not having to worry about young children around a pool. Nin is a very picturesque small town and not over-developed in any way. The beach was great, very clean, good amenities and the water is very shallow for 100m+ (perfect for small children). It’s also very good for windsurfing and kite boarding. The view is also very attractive with a large bay, no high rise development and the mountains in the background. We tended to use the town beach, not the Queens Beach with the medicinal mud - we found it more convenient and easier for kids. Nin has about 15 restaurants. The menus are all very similar (grilled fish or meat, pizza and pasta) and the food was generally good. We went at the end of May and the town was relatively quiet but still had enough atmosphere. It’s very laid back and worked well for young kids - if you want nightlife then it’s probably not for you. We did eat out in Zadar a few times and the food was very good and the town / city well worth a visit. We also enjoyed a good lunch in Pag and a trip to Krka national park
