Vaš boravak u Villa David

Vila David smještena je na Rabu, gotovo u središtu otoka, udaljena na 1 km od centra i plaže. Nalazi se na parceli od 1600 m2, a površina kuće je 395 m2, te pruža predivan pogled na cijeli grad .

Ima 4 uređene spavaće sobe, dvije s bračnim krevetom i dvije sa odvojenim ležajevima, tzv. dječje sobe. U vili se nalaze 4 kupaonice, opremljene tuš kabinom, a u jednoj od njih je samostojeća kada. Ugodan ambijent pružit će vam dnevni boravak, veličine cca. 35m2 ,gdje se nalazi kauč, WIFI, LED SMART TV, samostojeća peć na drva, klima uređaj te kvalitetan namještaj. Kuhinja je opremljena frižiderom, perilicom suđa, električnim štednjakom, pećnicom, mikrovalnom te caffe aparatom (filter kava).

Vila također posjeduje i bazen, čija je veličina 24 m2, obložen je staklenim mozaikom i opremljen suvremenim sustavom tretiranja vode bez uporebe klora ( elektoriza). Osim toga, vila ima i saunu, fitness te dva garažna mjesta. 

Budući da se vila David nalazi otprilike u centru samog otoka, plaže su dostupne na više lokacija, a najbliža je ispod starog grada, otprilike 1000 m. Do ostalih se plaža također može doći, vozilom ili plovilom te ih ima pjeskovitih, kamenitih i od finog pijeska (tzv. mel). U blizinu je trgovina, a osvježenje se može pronaći u obližnjim kafićima i restoranima.

Okružena prekrasnim prostranim dvorištem ova vila će vam pružiti zagarantiranu privatnost te je za vas uređena prema najvišim standardima higijene. U ponudu je uključena i besplatna svakodnevna dostava namirnica.

WOW, so ein megacooles Haus, mit einer Top Lage. Super herzliche Gastgeber. Es hat einfach alles von Anfang bis Ende gepasst. Ein herzlicher Empfang, ein blitzblankes Haus, wo sehr viel Liebe mit drin steckt, tolle Aussicht, liebevoll gepflegter Garten und so viel Platz und es ist einfach an alles gedacht, Waschmaschine und Trockner, sogar Poolhandtücher sind vorhanden. The Villa has an amazing view over the wonderful town of Rab that gives you unforgettable dinners under the villa's portico. The owners of the villa are very friendly and helpful and you can tell from the details of the house that they are very attentive to the well-being of their guests. Last but not least I travel a lot for work and I guarantee that only in some of the best 5-star hotels have I found such cleanliness. Considering that the house is over 400 square metres let's say "chapeau". The garden and swimming pool are very pleasant and well-kept

Wir waren vom 02.-09.06.2018 in der Villa David. Kurz gesagt, es war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte die wir je hatten. Der Eindruck vor Ort übertraf nochmals die Bilder im Internet (meist ist es ja umgekehrt). Der Blick auf die Altstadt / Hafen und die Architektur des Hauses bzw. der kompletten Anlage ist m.M. nicht zu übertreffen. Wir bekamen das Haus in einem sehr sauberen Zustand übergeben. Der nächste Supermarkt (Plodine) ist nur ca. 15 Gehminuten entfernt (mit dem Auto ca. 3 min.) - da bekommt man alles was man braucht bzw. vergessen hat - incl. Fleischtheke und Backwaren. Ansonsten befinden sich noch viele Supermärkte und Bäckereien in der Stadt Rab bzw. auf dem Weg dorthin. Zu Fuß kann man die Altstadt in ca. 15 min. über zwei (steile) Wege erreichen (einen davon auch mit Kinderwagen). Zur Ausstattung sei kurz angemerkt das die beschriebene Mikrowelle nicht vorhanden war und auch kein Tischfußball (was uns aber nicht störte) - dafür aber ein Billardtisch und eine Dartscheibe sowie neben der Waschmaschine noch einen Trockner. Außerdem hat der Kühlschrank noch ein Gefrierfach und es ist auch noch eine separate Gefriertruhe vorhanden. Das Haus ist komplett mit Geschirr und Töpfen ausgestattet. Grillbesteck ist auch vorhanden - die notwendige Kohle kann man sich vor Ort im Supermarkt kaufen. Die Garage hat Platz für zwei Autos incl. Dachkoffer (mit SUV / Bus könnte es allerdings schwierig werden). Die Sauna ist sauber (wir nutzten diese allerdings nicht) und der Pool ist ohne Chlor dafür mit hautverträglichem Salzelektrolysesystem. Sollte man das Haus doch mal verlassen wollen, dann kann man auf der Anhöhe des Hauses schön spazieren gehen, sich Fahrräder in Rab Stadt leihen oder aber einfach nur mal Wandern zu einer der schönen Buchten nordwestlich von Shua Punta. Auch zum Paradiesstrand nach Lopar sind es nur ca. 15 km mit dem Auto. Die Vermieter Petra und Valter sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und jederzeit zu erreichen wenn man Fragen hat. Was noch anzumerken sei und uns vor der Buchung etwas stutzig machte, ist der Standort bei Google Maps für die Adresse Palit 116 b - dies wäre unten in der Stadt Rab und nicht oben am Berg mit der Aussicht wie auf den Bildern. Der Fehler liegt bei Google Maps in Verbindung mit der Adresse. Wenn man nach den richtigen Koordinaten geht (44.765732, 14.762306) dann sieht man auch bei Google Maps die richtige Lage der Villa. Alles in allem war das ein wunderschöner Familienurlaub (Großeltern, Kinder und Enkel), den wir wieder dort verbringen würden.

Stunning, spacious and sophisticated family Villa

After a long journey from the UK, we were delighted to be met off the Ferry by the friendly villa owner, even though it was almost 10pm. He showed us right to the villa and talked us through the facilities. Throughout the stay, he was very helpful and any questions we had, were answered straight away. (even a request for ping pong balls for the table tennis table - he brought some straight round!) I can't fault the style, cleanliness of the villa or the customer service of the owner. In fact the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars (and I really wanted to!) was because of the air conditioning. There is air con in the main living areas which were lovely and cool but unfortunately not in the bedrooms and we were there during a heatwave which meant temperatures in the 30s even at night! We couldn't sleep in the main bedrooms as too hot for the children, so moved to the smaller twin bedrooms on the ground floor. But the villa owner did his best and brought fans for us which improved things slightly. I think they are planning to install air con in the other parts of the house and after that I would say it is definitely a 5 STAR property. Also, if the temperatures were normal for this time of year, perhaps we wouldn't have had the same problem. Don't let that put you off though. It is short drive into Rab Town which has lots of shops and restaurants and a lively but family orientated feeling. We spent a lot of evenings down in the town with our 2 toddlers who enjoyed staying up late! I would recommend ordering taxis to and from the house in the evening, if you want to drink alcohol but these are easily booked and it is only a very short drive. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a BBQ which we used as well as a little children's play area. There were 6 of us in total (2 families) and the villa was very spacious so that we weren't cramped, even with 2 lively toddlers. The kids LOVED the holiday and the pool especially. They were very well catered for and the travel cots were set up with childrens bedding on them on arrival. We would return definitely and hopefully with the addition of extra air con, it would be perfect and definitely 5 stars!
