Lovely villa in a quiet, beautiful location
This villa is simply beautiful. This fully equipped villa is located in a great location near many sights, such as the town of Rovinj, Porec, or the small popular town of Motovun. I'm an astronomer, and I like to take images from deep space and this location is perfect for that because there is low light pollution. Great Croatian observatory Višnjan is 5 min by car from the house. Nice thing is that this house has floor heating. There are many rooms in this place that offers you privacy if needed. If you want to eat something nice, many restaurants are very close to the house 15 -30 min by car. For groceries, you can go to Pazin or Porec which are both very close. The hosts were perfect and they tried to accommodate us with all our needs. They even prepared us a lovely meal with Istrian truffles :) Overall 10/10. Perfect. We will probably go again. :)

5 Sterne reichen nicht...
... Wie soll man eine Bewertung für einen mehr als perfekten Urlaub beginnen? Als wir an der Villa Ovi ankamen und uns Marijana empfangen hat, haben wir direkt die unfassbare Gastfreundschaft der Paljuh Familie erlebt. Marijana hat uns liebevoll durch die perfekt aufbereitete und saubere Traum-Villa geführt und uns Alles im Detail erklärt. (Auch die Alarmanlage, leider haben wir an dieser Stelle scheinbar nicht richtig aufgepasst :)) Wir kamen also ab der ersten Minute in unserem Urlaub an! Die Ausstattung der Villa ist sensationell und es fehlt absolut an nichts. So konnten wir den Wellness Bereich, den Pool und das riesige Grundstück jeden Tag genießen. Marijana war die kompletten 14 Tage für jede Frage erreichbar und hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Nach 1 Woche wurden sogar die Bettlacken und Handtücher ausgetauscht - wie im Hotel. Besonderes Highlight waren für uns die kulinarischen Kostbarkeiten von Familie Paljuh. Der hauseigene Wein, die verschiedenen selbst gebrannten Grappas, der Schinken, der Käse uvm. haben den Genuss abgerundet. Wir haben mittlerweile viele schöne Orte auf dieser Welt entdeckt, eine solche Gastfreundschaft wie in der Villa Ovi haben wir allerdings noch nie erlebt. Daher eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden Urlauber, der dem stressigen Alltag entfliehen und an einem absolut ruhigen und einsamen Ort zur Ruhe kommen möchte. Liebe Familie Paljuh - Noch einmal vielen, vielen Dank für diesen wundervollen Urlaub und wir werden uns sicherlich noch einmal wiedersehen!

The house is perfect (great clean lovely rooms, great pool, super big and well tended garden), the owners are lovely and taking care of all needs (thanks again for everything, Marijana!!!). We had the perfect 2 week stay in Villa Ovi with our 2 families! Definitely a 5 star recommendation!!!

Amazing villa which was equipped to an extremely high standard and was spotlessly clean. Unable to fault it in any way and was the best villa we have ever stayed in. Marijana and Damir went to great lengths to make sure everything is perfect. We arrived early before the villa was ready but Marijana provided us with food and drink which was appreciated after our early start. During the week they dropped off home grown produce and wine. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Villa is located in a very small village so car essential for everything. About 25 mins to Porec and 15 mins to the supermarket but once orientated didn’t seem far. Was very hot whilst we were there so spent a lot of time around the pool, Porec great in the evenings. Very busy in Rovinj. Would definitely go back maybe when slightly cooler to explore the region more. Fantastic villa and owners, highly recommend if like us you’re happy to be in a quiet location.

Besonderen herzlichen Dank an Marijana!!! Sie verwőhnte uns mit Kroatischen Spezialitäten, selbstgemachten Wein und Kroatischen Lebensweisheiten. Wir werden Euch bestimmt wieder besuchen. Draga Marijana i Damire i Lovro. Kao prvo, pišemo na hrvatskom, jer smo ponosni da smo prvi hrvatski gosti. Nadam se da će ih biti još puno u budućnosti i da će i drugi uživati u svim blagodatima koje pruža Vaša predivna kuća. Oduševljeni smo uređenjem i opremom do najsitnijih detalja, sve je jako funkcionalno i uređeno s puno pažnje, ukusa i ljubavi. Mislim za oči gdje god se pogleda! Želimo Vam puno gostiju, novih poznanstava i da i Vi koji puta uživate u ovoj divnoj kući. Mi smo grupa prijatelja iz mladosti, okupljenih s raznih strana svijeta i nismo mogli odabrati bolje mjesto da provedemo ugodne trenutke zajedno. Istra je prekrasna, puno toga smo vidjeli i doživjeli, ali puno toga ostalo je i za neka iduća vremena. Nadam se da ovo nije zadnji posjet ovoj kući i da ćemo jednog dana čitati s nostalgijom ovaj zapis. Villa Ovi is as big and beautiful as the photos show. The house is furnished to a high standard and has everything you need for sunny, and also rainy days. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry are very well equipped. The neighbourhood is very friendly but quiet - perfect for us! From the perspective of experienced holiday house renters, what makes this Villa so special are the owners Marijana and Damir. The complimentary food and wine upon arrival, bedsheets and towels were changed after a week, we received little homegrown presents along the way, etc. Extra special was the dinner together, where we got to learn more about their family, Croatia & local area, and our children also played so nicely together despite the language barrier :) If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend Villa Ovi.

Bei dieser Villa handelt es sich um einen Neubau mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Haus, der Pool und die komplette Außenanlage ist extrem gepflegt und sehr sauber. Der Internetauftritt ist ja schon sehr vielversprechend, aber die Realität übertrifft alles! Von daher können wir uns der bisherigen Bewertung nur anschließen. Wer ein vollständig ausgestattes, perfektes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz und Privatsphäre sowohl innen als auch außen in einer ruhigen Lage mit einer phantastischen Aussicht in die umliegende Natur sucht, der ist hier definitiv richtig. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich, extrem hilfsbereit und engagiert. Sie sind sehr daran interessiert, den Aufenthalt ihrer Gäste zu etwas Außergewöhnlichem zu machen. So wurden wir mit istrischen Köstlichkeiten empfangen, der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken gefüllt und am ersten Abend wurden wir sogar bekocht. Auch während unseres Aufenthaltes wurden wir weiterhin kulinarisch verwöhnt. Alles in Allem haben wir uns so sehr wohl gefühlt, dass wir definitiv wiederkommen werden. An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank an Marijana und Damir für Eure außergewöhnliche und herzliche Gastfreundschaft und für dieses wunderschöne Haus. Wir sehen uns im nächsten Jahr!

Die Villa Ovi ist ein perfekt durchdachtes Feriendomizil, das wirklich gar keine Wünsche offen lässt. Sie hat sehr viele Anehmlichkeiten (Jacuzzi, Sauna, Klimaanlage, Fensterläden,...) und ist mit sehr sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir waren eine Gruppe von sechs Erwachsenen und drei Kindern (2,5,7 Jahre) und fühlten uns alle pudelwohl. Für die Kids war neben dem Pool, eine Schaukel und Rutsche vorhanden - auch eine Tischtennisplatte und und ein kleiner Kickerkasten sind jederzeit zum Spielen bereit. Neben der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche gibt es auch einen extra Raum, indem sich Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer, Bügelbrett, etc.. befinden. Die überdachte Terrasse lädt zum Grillen ein und hat uns viele schöne Abendstunden bei Kerzenschein in absoluter Ruhe (nur mit Vogelgezwitscher) beschert. Die Außenanlage ist sehr groß und gepflegt, somit hat man immer die Möglichkeit sich auch mal zurückzuziehen. Die Besitzer Damian und Marijana sind sehr herzliche und bemühte Gastgeber, die uns am ersten Tag mit leckren istrischen Köstlichkeiten überrascht und am vorletzten Tag unsere Reise abends sogar zum Essen eingeladen haben. Marijana und Damian waren stets für uns erreichbar und haben uns mit sehr vielen wertvollen Informationen zur Gegend versorgt. Die Villa Ovi (unser persönlicher "magic place") zieht einen ab der ersten Sekunden in ihren Bann und man will da gar nicht mehr weg. Wir wären am Liebsten zwei Wochen geblieben, damit wir die Villa noch mehr genießen könnten. Liebe Marijana, lieber Damian, herzlichen DANK für die vielen schönen Momente in Eurer Villa Ovi. Wir wünschen Euch viele nette Gäste und kommen bestimmt bald wieder :-)))

We had the honor to be the first guests in this beautiful Villa and we were absolutely stunned with Villa Ovi and the beautiful details it has. The surrounding of the villa is serene, the only thing you hear are birds singing and you have beautiful views over the green surroundings. There are only 3 or 4 houses in the neighborhood, and the large garden is facing the woods so you have a lot of privacy, enjoying the spacious and sunny terrace and the large swimming pool. For colder days there is floor heating, a fireplace and a state of the art spa with a whirlpool and a sauna, which makes this villa great to rent also outside of the summer months. One of our favorite features is the terrace of the master-bedroom on the 1st floor overlooking the greenery, where you can sit in the evening and watch the sun going down. Perfect spot for a romantic evening with a nice glass of Croatian wine! We were absolutely wowed with the outstanding hospitality of the owners of Villa Ovi, who welcomed and treated us like friends and always ensured that we would have everything we could possibly need. They made our holidays very special, introducing us to local delicacies like homemade sausages, pasta, ham, olive oil, wine and grappa. We can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Ovi for everyone who honors a beautiful modern villa, serene surrounding and the local specialties of beautiful Croatia, as well as the outstanding hospitality of the locals.
