Your stay in Villa Karlo

Villa Karlo is located on a charming island in the north of the Adriatic - Vir. Vir belongs to the islands of the Zadar archipelago and is connected to the mainland of Dalmatia. Thanks to this connection, you can enjoy mobility and discover the beauties of the Adriatic, but at the same time you can experience a typical island atmosphere. On the ground floor of the beautiful modern villa Karlo is a modern kitchen with a dining room with 8 seats, a living room, a bedroom with a bathroom and a separate toilet. Upstairs are the remaining three bedrooms with bathroom. Bathrooms are ensuite with shower, and a washing machine and iron are also available. The bedrooms are equipped with double beds (160 x 200) and offer accommodation for 8 guests. All bedrooms and living room are air conditioned. On the first floor of the villa is a terrace from which you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Adriatic and the islands of the Zadar archipelago. In the yard there is a swimming pool (4 x 8 x 1.5) around which are 6 sunbeds, and a sitting set. Here you can prepare your specialties on the outdoor gas grill. The yard and the villa are surrounded by a wall (1.2-2.2m) so you can enjoy your holiday in complete privacy. If you want to go swimming on the beach, only 50 m from Villa is a beautiful sandy city beach. The indented coast of Vir is adorned with many beaches (sandy, pebble and rocky). Vir is an ideal starting point for trips to the surrounding national parks: Paklenica, Kornati, Krka Waterfalls and Plitvice Lakes. In the immediate vicinity are the old Croatian royal town of Nin, and the popular tourist destination of Zadar, whose core abounds in historical monuments. This property may allow pets at the owner's discretion, or for a fee. Please note this property does not accept youth groups or stag/hen parties. A youth group at this property is one comprised of individuals aged 30 or under. Do not book this property if you are a youth group or a stag/hen party, as your booking will be rejected post-booking, which may include on arrival at the property or during your stay and you will not be refunded.

All the rooms were ensuite, with their own individual decor, all a good size. The host met us on time to show us around and give us the keys. He was always on hand if we needed anything, the kettle broke and he replaced it straight away. He took the time to offer us a boat trip around the island which we chose not to take up, hopefully next time. Would recommend and defini......

Nicht schlecht, aber ...
Lage : Haus liegt hinter einem Campingplatz, aber durch hohe Mauer geschützt. In der Nähe befinden sich mehrere Strandabschnitte, die zu Fuß in 3-5 min erreichbar sind. Haus: hochwertige Ausstattung, das Notwendigste ist vorhanden; sehr schöne Dachterrasse. Im gesamten Haus (160 qm) gibt es nur einen Fernseher im Wohnzimmer. Wir hatten uns schon auf's grillen gefreut, allerdings war der Gasgrill nicht gereinigt und hat uns nicht zum Grillen eingeladen. Einige Steckdosen im Haus waren nicht fest installiert und Abdeckungen fehlten. Im allgemeinen können wir uns der Bewertung von H. Lämmlein aus 09/2021 anschließen, diese Empfehlungen (Gartenbereich, Tor etc.) umzusetzen.

This is a beautiful villa. The beds are very comfortable, the shutters make it easy to have a great night's sleep. The pool is beautiful and the BBQ area is lovely. The upstairs terrace gives a lovely view of the sea. The kitchen is cosy but well-equipped. The hosts are extremely helpful and on hand to provide any help necessary. We had a medical emergency during our stay and the hosts were extremely helpful and very caring. The location is pretty. It's close to a lovely bay with a kastelina (castle ruin). There are some noisy bars nearby but the villa is a beautiful oasis so this is no problem. Showers very posh. Plenty on toilets. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Lovely place.

Das Haus kann man mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Hier sind uns nur ein paar kleine Verbesserungen eingefallen. - Außenküche im Gartenbereich erstellen, die Anschlüsse sind bereits da. - größerer Grill, da für 7 Personen es nur auf Etappen möglich war zu essen. - Außenküche auf der Dachterrasse fertigstellen, Grill + Geschirr + Besteck + Beschattungsmöglichkeit. Im Moment muss man alles nach oben schleppen. Somit nutzt man die schöne Fläche leider nicht wirklich. - Fernseher in den Schlafzimmern einbauen - Tor o. ä. anbringen, damit das Gelände geschlossen werden kann. Super für Hunde. - Temperaturregelung für den Pool ermöglichen. uns war der Pool etwas zu kalt. Das sind m. E. Verbesserung, jedoch keine Mängel. Da ich eine handwerkliche Ausrichtung habe, sind mir hier auch ein paar Dinge aufgefallen. Alle Leistungen sind gut ausgeführt worden, jedoch würde ich den Maler verklagen. Er hat das ganze schöne Haus mit seinen Künsten verhuntzt. Vielleicht ist hier der deutsche Standard auch nicht der richtige. Lage ist super, Meer super nah, Bäcker und Restaurants ums Eck. Austattung super.
